Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Jen Galloway MISM LLC (“Jen Galloway MISM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit JenGallowayMISM.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it.

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you use the contact form, we may collect your first and last name, email address, optional mobile phone number, communication preference, message, and any other information you choose to provide. Please do not submit passwords, customer records, financial information, health information, or other confidential or sensitive material through the form.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting, analytics, performance, and security tools may automatically receive technical information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, dates and times of visits, and interactions with the Site. Security logs may also record attempted logins, blocked requests, and similar activity needed to protect the Site.

Cookies and analytics

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for WordPress functionality, security, performance, and measurement. Google Analytics, connected through Google Site Kit, may use cookies or similar identifiers to provide aggregated information about visits and use of the Site. Jetpack may also provide site statistics, performance, and security features.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site functions. Where a consent choice is presented, you may use it to manage optional cookies.

How we use information

  • To respond to questions about Know the Organization First, interviews, speaking, articles, or professional systems work.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site.
  • To understand Site traffic and how visitors use the Site.
  • To prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and the rights of others.

Submitting the contact form does not subscribe you to a marketing list. If you request the Numbers-Confidence Check through its signup form, we use your email address to send the resource and occasional practical notes about business systems and Know the Organization First, as described on that form. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Service providers and disclosure

We may share information with service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate and protect the Site. These providers may include IONOS for hosting and performance, WordPress and Automattic services including Jetpack, WPForms for contact-form functionality, Google services including Analytics and Site Kit, Sucuri for security, and email or other communications providers used to respond to inquiries and deliver requested resources and email updates. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy practices.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect safety or rights, or in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention

Contact inquiries and related correspondence are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Technical, analytics, and security information is retained according to our settings and the retention practices of the applicable service providers. Information may be kept longer when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions and identity verification.

You may avoid providing information through the contact form and may manage cookies through your browser. Because there is not a single uniform standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, the Site may not respond to every such signal. The Site does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use care when deciding what to submit online.

External links and embedded content

The Site may link to booksellers, social networks, publishers, or other third-party sites and may occasionally display embedded content. Those services may collect information independently. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us so we can review and, when appropriate, delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Site, its services, or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the current version.
